State Legislative Internships

Not all state legislatures accept students from other states to work as interns. These contacts and websites are the perfect place for you to start your search. You may need to do some of your own follow-up. Most intern programs welcome students from all majors and with varied interests. State legislative internships are very different from those experiences you may find in Washington DC. At the state level you will find a more intimate and impassioned focus because the constituents being served are the elected officials’ next door neighbors.
