Position Description:
We are seeking an undergraduate student to assist with data collection and data entry in a project focused on public organizations in local communities. This temporary position is a great opportunity for students looking to gain valuable research experience and develop a deeper understanding of public administration.
Responsibilities:
- Collect data from various sources as directed by the research team.
- Enter data accurately into predefined databases or spreadsheets.
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings (in-person).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all research data.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
- Perform additional tasks related to the research project as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at Indiana University.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry.
- Ability to commit to 10 hours of work per week for the duration of the 5-week project.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Prior experience in data collection or entry is preferred but not required.
- Interest in public organizations and leadership.
Compensation:
$14 / hour for 5 weeks
