City Year is excited for its 2024-2025 Service Year and looking to hire graduating students from Indiana University – Bloomington for its nationally-recognized AmeriCorps Program who are ready to take on the challenge of addressing educational inequity across our country. City Year focused on tutoring, mentorship, and school advocacy work with urban, public-school partnerships in 29 U.S. Cities. City Year’s AmeriCorps Members are offered a bi-weekly stipend, training and professional development, and alumni resources including University Partnerships, Career Partnerships, and the ~$7.4k Segal Education Award. No experience in the classroom needed – no expectation to stay in education after the program. This is a one-year obligation to supporting the success and development of young people who may be furthest away from access to resources and support during their educational journey. Want to be a part of City Year’s important work? Apply by Friday, May 3rd to start serving with City Year in late July/early August 2024.
