The Role of Internships in the Hiring Process states 66% of employers consider internship experience as an important factor in their hiring decisions’ (Internships USA, 2024). 47% of recent college graduates, who had an internship in their industry/field, received a job offer 6-months post-graduation. 56% of companies, with 100+ employees, and 42% of small companies hired their interns for full time positions.
The role of an internship is a valuable marketing tool for students who are ready to enter the professional world, BUT before you can market yourself to get that offer, first you’ll need an internship and know how to utilize that experience to the fullest!
