Hi, my name is Brianna Wright and I am a sophomore studying Law & Public Policy as well as Urban Planning & Community Development, and Environmental Management. I have had experience working in city government and a law firm, and this summer I will be working for the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority to learn about affordable housing. In the future, I would like to work in the local or federal government to support affordable housing and sustainability initiatives. On campus, I am involved in Alpha Phi Omega Co-Ed Service Fraternity, Women in Government, and Bring Change to Mind. In my free time, I enjoy listening to podcasts, going for runs, and trying new coffee shops.
I am the kind of person to plan 1, 5, and 10 years ahead, so as a freshman I stopped into the career hub quite often to learn how to write a cover letter, search for internships, and practice for interviews. The support I gained from the hub was profound, so I decided to apply to become a part of the team. Since then, I have loved helping students who are looking to advance their professional careers!
Q: What’s your favorite TV show or movie and why?

Q: On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me …
A: Waking up late, drinking chai, watching the news, eating some yummy cinnamon rolls, and going for a walk

Hi, my name’s Judah Burt, I am a junior at Indiana University Bloomington in the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs studying Management. In May 2021, I graduated from Ivy Tech’s 11-month Accelerated Associate Program (ASAP) where I received my associates and technical certificate in business administration. I became more passionate about business my senior year in high school when I realized I had many interpersonal skills, well suited in that area, and I enjoyed managing in the business industry. My senior year, I joined as an Event Planner Leader in my high school’s first-year chapter of DECA, which is an organization focused on providing students experience in business. After graduating from high school in 2020, I started my first year of college and joined the ASAP Leadership Team as an Event Planner and participated in Ivy Tech’s Indiana Leadership Program, where you can improve your leadership skills. During my time in ASAP, I worked as an ASAP Work-Study where I serviced the ASAP students and the program to provide guidance, coordinate events, and recruit.
Since transferring to Indiana University, I am excited to work as a Peer Educator in The Career Hub. I am looking forward to meeting students and providing knowledge to help them become and feel more confident navigating their careers!

I am a fourth-year student at IU studying Nonprofit Management and Social Welfare Justice and am from the far east side of Indianapolis. I am the community outreach executive for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance here on campus. I have a passion for advocacy and a special interest in youth and workforce development, specifically in Indianapolis. I will be graduating in December 2023.
Q: What is your favorite part of your hometown?
A: My favorite part of Indianapolis is the prioritization of community with the great initiatives for development from some amazing nonprofit organizations. Also, the culture on the east side of Indianapolis is the only reason one may stay in Indiana!
Q: What was your dream job when you were 10 years old?
A: When I was 10 years old I wanted to be a nail artist. I was obsessed with doing everyone in my family’s nails and was set on having my own salon. Now, I hate doing my own nails but I still love supporting local artists and getting my nails done frequently.

Bio: I am a third-year student majoring in Human Resource Management here at O’Neill. I am extremely passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and aspire to explore how to create strategic solutions to combat innate disparities within the workplace. I chose to work at the Career Hub because of the community it creates within O’Neill. Seeing familiar faces and helping them succeed is the best part of my job!
Q: What is your favorite part of your hometown?
A: I am from Fishers, Indiana and I love visiting the new restaurants that are popping up as I am away in Bloomington! You most likely can find me at a small-business eating yummy food at any given time.
Q: What is your favorite TV show or movie and why?
A: My favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls because of the small town it is based in. The show is super comforting to rewatch over and over again.

My name is Sam Clements, and I am currently a second-year Master of Public Affairs candidate concentrating in Environmental Policy & Natural Resource Management. In December of 2018, I graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Environmental Studies. It has been my constant passion for the environment that propelled me into outdoor work after graduation. When I was a child, I thought I would be a dentist before I realized that I needed medical school! Blood and guts are not my forte so I am glad that I went into public affairs instead. Prior to my studies at O’Neill, I was an environmental educator for two years, leading various groups of children through natural areas and learning general outdoor skills. In coming back to school, I am very glad I chose IU Bloomington and glad to be working with the Career Hub team at O’Neill! While I am glad that we serve coffee in the studio, my favorite coffee shop in town is Crumble Coffee & Bakery (the one on College is my favorite location) for a black drip coffee.
