Ocean and Marine Conservation Club

The health of the ocean and marine life is faced with every day threats. Due to our wasteful practices, increasing numbers and climate change, the future of our oceans lie in our hands. The Ocean and Marine Conservation Club (OMCC) aims to raise awareness about the dangers our fragile marine life ecosystems are facing. Through conversations and events about ocean and marine conservation, we seek to inspire others to take action. We will educate the community on conservation techniques through gathering and disseminating information, guest speakers volunteer opportunities, and film screenings. Though located in the Midwest, we will undertake other efforts to make a difference globally by organizing fundraisers for research and development of innovative solutions. We will make a difference in the environment through implementing collaborative ideas and activities to help protect, conserve, and rebuild the ecosystems of our oceans.
