Mock trial is a competitive legal exercise where undergraduates act as attorneys and witnesses in an attempt to litigate a case; sometimes criminal and sometimes civil. The Purpose of this organization is to provide a framework for members to gain a better understanding of the practice of law through intercollegiate competition, to have access to local and national legal communities, to strengthen communication and presentation skills, to create an interest in the law, and to encourage teamwork and professionalism in the university community
