IU Student Government (IUSG) consists of three branches, the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branch. The Legislative branch (IUSG Congress) is charged with drafting policy that seeks to better student life on campus. The Executive branch is charged with carrying out Congressional legislation and serving as the advocates on behalf of the student body.
